Austwick WI held their annual members’ event last Thursday with an evening of Pies, Peas and Poetry. It was a great success with members bringing their favourite poems, some treasured from childhood. There was much laughter, some tears and a lot of mushy peas. We meet in Austwick Parish Hall on the second Thursday of the month and all are welcome.
