Village Show

Next year’s show will take place on Saturday 2nd August 2025. A schedule of all the classes for the 2025 Show will appear in the Spring 2025 Newsletter, on the Austwick Facebook page and this website.

The full printed Schedule and entry forms will be free and available in June/July from Cross Leigh Stores and will also be available to download from this website.

To get you thinking we have already chosen the themes for those Show classes which typically change each year, including new classes for the children, so that you can begin your preparations early.

Cookery

A handmade seeded loaf

Four Shrewsbury biscuits (rolled and cut)

Four Fruit Scones

Four slices from a tray bake

Four chocolate brownies

A Victoria sandwich cake

Recipe item: A carrot cake

Children’s section: 4 decorated buns

For the Artists

A still life painting

A drawing of “A” form of transport”

Four different photos of “On the Water”

Photographic class: A single photograph of “Light and Shade”

There will also be an opportunity for you to enter photographs, drawings and paintings on subjects of your own choice.

Children’s classes:

A painting or drawing of a monster

A poster entitled: “Keep Austwick Tidy”

A photograph: “My Holiday
