Street Market & Cuckoo Festival

The 2025 Street Market and Cuckoo Festival will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 26 May 2025.
Children’s entertainer, Juggling Jim, will keep younger visitors entertained. There will also be face painting and children’s games. Other highlights include the stunning Thwaites Dray Horses, Oak Jazz Band, Settle and Giggleswick Brass Band, vintage cars and cafe jazz guitar music.
Stalls will be selling crafts, bric a brac, second hand household items, books and plants. The legendary bacon butty stall will be open to keep you fuelled up, plus pie and peas, a hog roast, sandwiches, cakes, scones, teas, coffees and other drinks.
All funds raised on the day go towards the upkeep of two key village facilities used by many – the Parish Hall and Playing Fields. So we really appreciate everyone’s support.
If you would like to volunteer to help in the lead up to the event or on the day please contact Janet Heap at janheap@hotmail.co.uk or Mark Stickland at mark_stickland@yahoo.co.uk
We are now collecting any furniture you would like to donate to the Street Market. To donate and discuss details please contact Karen at kford5950@gmail.com.
Collection of donations for the spares, bric-a-brac and book stalls will be on the evenings of Tuesday 20 May and Thursday 22 May in Austwick, Wharfe and Feizor. Householders in Eldroth, Neasden and Lawkland can bring items to Townhead Farm Barn on these evenings between 6 and 8pm. Contributions for the plant stall can be left at Beck House.
This year we will not be collecting or selling clothes. Please do not leave clothes or curtains with other items. If you have clothes to donate, these can be dropped at Austwick School on 22 May at 9am. These donations will be for the benefit of the school.
