Austwick Parish Hall Facilities
Austwick Parish Hall is in the centre of Austwick village and performs an important role within the life of the village.
Private Hire
It is an excellent venue for a wide variety of events and is available for private hire for:
- family gatherings such as wedding receptions, christenings or funerals
- business events such as seminars, conferences, exhibitions, weekly or monthly meetings
- workshops
- indoor sports events
- social occasions, such as dances and dinners
- musical or cultural performances.
The Hall
The venue has two rooms – a small room measuring 45 square metres, and a large room of 110 square metres. A fully equipped kitchen links both rooms, and a lawned and paved area measuring approximately 60 square metres with lovely views is accessible from the rear of the large room.
The hall can accommodate a maximum of 120 people seated in the large hall with 40 people seated in the small hall. The outside garden area is ideal for erecting a marquee at large wedding receptions, or just drifting outside during summer events.
Hall Facilities
The Parish Hall facilities include:
- full central heating
- toilets with disabled access, washbasins and showers
- adaptable staging, chairs with upholstered seats and tables
- drinks bar furniture (subject to licensing arrangements)
- large screen, projector, sound system and audio induction loop
- free super fast Wi-Fi Broadband
The kitchen is equipped with a:
- large electric cooker
- warming oven
- fridge
- microwave
- automatic water boiler
- double sink unit
- industrial sized dishwasher and
- crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment.
Additional items for hire include trestle tables and gazebos.
Additional Conditions
The Parish Hall has an Entertainments Licence, but the hirer must apply for a bar licence if one is required.
The hall can be hired for residential purposes but users need to provide their own beds or mattresses.
