Austwick Parish Hall performs an important roll within the life of the
village.
The
venue has two rooms: a small room measuring 45 sq metres, and a large
room of 110 sq metres.
A
fully equipped kitchen links both rooms, and a lawned and paved area
measuring
approximately 60 sq metres with lovely views is accessible from the rear
of the large room.
Austwick Parish Hall can accommodate a maximum of 120 people (seated),
and is available for private hire for family gatherings such as wedding
receptions, Christenings or funerals; business events such as seminars,
conferences or exhibitions; weekly or monthly meetings, workshops or
indoor sports events;
and
is a perfect venue for social occasions such as dances, dinners or
musical or cultural performances.
The
outside garden area is ideal for barbecues, erecting a marquee at large
wedding receptions,
or
just drifting outside during summer events.
The
Hall has full central heating and modern cloakrooms with toilets,
washbasins and showers.
The Hall
may be hired for residential purposes if users provide their own beds or
mattresses.
Facilities include adaptable staging, chairs, tables, a bar (subject to
licensing arrangements),
and roller projection screens in both rooms.
The
recently re-furbished kitchen is equipped with two electric cookers, a
warming oven,
fridge, microwave, automatic water boiler, double sink
unit, dishwasher, crockery,
cutlery and cooking equipment.
