The Secretary reported that membership of the Association had increased and despite the poor weather of last year the overall number of entries was similar to the previous year, vegetable entries being down but flower exhibits were up. The number of children’s entries continues to decline but with the addition of some exciting  new classes perhaps you can encourage your child to take part.

The Treasurer reported a healthy balance which together with a grant from the Rotary Club of Settle enabled the purchase of new display boards.   Sponsors and advertisers were thanked for their continued support.

A reminder that Membership subscriptions are now due.

The show this year will take place on Saturday August 2nd 2008 and the outline schedule appears below. The full schedule will be available in June/July.
