The society was formed in
December 1998 with the aim of encouraging interest in local history and
natural history within the village. A programme of talks and walks is
arranged each year.
Notices are displayed on the
Parish Hall Notice Board and in the village shop and on this site before
each talk or walk with details of time and place.
