Background

The society was formed in December 1998 with the aim of encouraging interest in local history and natural history within the village. A programme of talks and walks is arranged each year. Notices giving detailed information are displayed on the Parish Hall Notice Board, in the village shop, and on this Website before each talk or walk with details of time and place.

Led by Mik Cardus, Assistant Quarry Manager

July 18, 2012 (6:30 pm) The Wild Flowers of Austwick Cemetery (Field and Local History Society)

An outing led by Colin Newlands, of Natural England.
